Jack Kirby
Kirby co-created or co-designed a staggering share of the Marvel roster, including the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Hulk, and Captain America. For years his contribution was overshadowed by Lee's public fame, but historians now credit the two as full partners. Lee was the voice; Kirby was very often the vision.
